Saudi Customs Gained Revenues of SR22 Billion in 2012

The Saudi Customs gained revenues of SR22.25 billion, during the fiscal year 2012, with an increase of 13.5% over the previous year. These revenues do not include an amount of SR6.4 billion which represents the exempted customs duties on imported goods.

This came in the Annual Report of Saudi Customs (2012), showing that the value of goods imported to Saudi Arabia amounted to SR587.8 billion, with an increase of 19% over the previous year (SR495.5 billion), while the value of non-oil goods exported by Saudi Arabia rose by 8% with a total of SR170.4 billion.
